I'm Rick Jackson, a nearly lifelong Columbus, Ohio resident and small business owner. By day I run the family business, Sloan-Jackson, Inc. We own and manage apartments.

Back in 1999, when I realized the many benefits of a web site for the family business, I hired someone to do one for me. He did a good job, but being a computer geek myself - and into a lot of things that could be put on websites - I couldn't resist learning the ropes myself. About a year later, I was handling the business site myself. It was admitedly a bit crude at first, but I hung in there learning more.

Next came a family website, then a site for my genealogy stuff. From there word of mouth led to the other sites you see on the portfolio page here, and several others.

I don't know everything about website design and don't want to. If you want something that I'm not completely knowledgable about I will research it and get help to get it done if I can. If I can't, I'll be up front and let you know that.

The "pitch" is simple: If we can do what you want, we'll do it for cheaper than most.
